Ulrich Dettweiler

Ulrich Dettweiler er faglig forskningsleder for NArENA prosjektet og har professorstilling ved Nasjonalt senter for læringsmiljø ved Universitetet i Stavanger.

Dettweilers forskning dreier seg primært om utendørs læring, uteskole, og effekten av miljøer på læring og de underliggende fysiologiske prosessene. Han leder for tiden universitetets laboratorium og kognitiv og atferdsmessig nevrovitenskap. Videre er Dettweiler interessert i forskningsmetodikk og og bayesiansk vitenskapsfilosofi og statistikk. Han har undervist i PPU (praktisk pedagogikk) og er involvert i ph.d. – kursene Anvendt statistikk, forskningsdesign og forskningsetikk, og vitenskapsfilosofi.
